Clement Belliveau

Clement Belliveau

Clement Belliveau carved a number of small birds in the late 1980's. He lived in Belliveau Cove on the shore of the Bay of Fundy near Digby. Belliveau Cove was a major centre of wooden shipbuilding in the 19th and early 20th century. The second largest wooden ship ever constructed in Canada, The County of Yarmouth, was built there in 1884.
