Ron Margeson

Inspired to begin carving by his friend, the late Garnet McPhail, Ron Margeson has been creating folk art in Kings County for the past 15 or more years. Before taking up carving, Ron worked with commercial equipment in the automotive industry, and experimented with wood burning and plaque making. Though he hasn't been producing much of late, his folk art has consisted primarily of figures, many depicting working men in traditional Nova Scotian industries.
