Leo Robichaud

Leo Robichaud

Leo was born in St. Charles New Brunswick and now resides in Shediac with his wife Marie-Mai.  Most of his career was spent selling paint throughout Atlantic Canada for BASF, he later enjoyed driving a school bus until retirement.  He began painting in 2003, and finds it good therapy for dealing with the effects of Parkinson's disease.  His work is unique, and takes on a life of its own.  Leo says he sometimes starts with the ocean, and just waits to see what the painting turns into.  His work has shown in the Moncton Library and Moncton City Hall.  One of his paintings was also featured on note cards issued by the Greater Moncton Parkinson's Support Group. A video of his opening at the Moncton library can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?
