Jim Smith

Jim began carving in 1996.The first carving was of a rooster meant to look like one he had seen in Finland. After the rooster and several other birds he began to carve the animals that had been painted on cave walls in Europe many thousands of years ago. Over the past several years he has found an endless challenge in creating pieces that complemented the work of those earliest artists. Each carving is unique in its' sculpting and painting.
